As managing partner of the Invictus Africa Group, Kodwo (Kojo) Mills connects investors with fund opportunities across sub-Saharan Africa. Kojo Mills founded the company in 2011 and has taken an active role in sourcing both opportunities and capital while simultaneously providing advice and board services to managers of portfolio companies.

Kojo Mills comes to the role at Invictus following success as cofounder, managing
director, and acting CEO of the Shanduka Group, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. Mills established the Shanduka Group in 2001 after leading as vice president at the investment banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Kojo Mills entered the financial services industry as an analyst at Salomon Brothers after earning his bachelor of arts degree in economics at Georgetown University. Mr. Mills subsequently received an MBA at Harvard Business School, where he was a Toigo Scholar.

Continually involved in advocating for economic development in the African continent, Kojo Mills balances his professional responsibilities with service as a board member of the John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Foundation. Since 2012, the foundation has contributed to the education of children who come from challenging circumstances in Ghana.
